## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support, triaging and resolving hardware, software, and access issues.
- Own Mac device procurement, deployment, MDM enrollment and configuration, lifecycle tracking, inventory, and budget management.
- Administer the identity provider and SSO, role-based access, and recurring access reviews.
- Manage SaaS and vendor relationships, including tool evaluation, implementation, contracts, renewals, licenses, seat allocation, and cost consolidation.
- Maintain network connectivity, printers, peripherals, conference rooms, and all-hands AV across the San Francisco and New York offices.
- Execute technical onboarding and offboarding, including hardware setup, account and license provisioning, access requests, deactivation, access revocation, asset recovery, license reclamation, and data retention.
- Implement and maintain security configurations, support remediation, and align access and tooling with security requirements.
- Build scalable runbooks, workflows, documentation, and automation.
- Administer AI tools, manage access and licensing, monitor usage, support adoption, evaluate new tools, and advise leadership on cost and appropriate use.

## Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in IT operations or systems administration.
- Experience as the sole or first IT hire, or equivalent autonomy.
- Daily, fluent use of AI tools and the ability to teach others.
- Strong hands-on administration of Google Workspace, an identity provider such as Okta, and Mac fleet management through an MDM.
- Experience managing a modern SaaS stack, including access management, licensing, and cost control.
- Sound independent judgment and a patient, service-oriented approach.
- Experience configuring security controls against an established framework.
- Multi-site network and AV setup experience.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience driving AI adoption among non-technical employees or advising leadership on AI tooling.
- Information security experience.
