## Job Description

## Key Responsibilities
- Serve as architectural coach and mentor for engineers and solution designers across Product-to-Cash domain, building team capability in Revenue Cloud Advanced and billing
- Partner with Principal Salesforce Architect to align on direction, solve complex challenges, and ensure solutions meet company needs
- Produce High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and conceptual diagrams
- Manage architecture and system roadmaps, aligned with platform standards and Product-to-Cash direction
- Define, maintain, and enforce platform standards across Salesforce ecosystem
- Build Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate architecture and design decisions
- Participate in requirement gathering, clarifying scope and resolving ambiguity
- Design and govern integrations with integration team for seamless data flow
- Provide hands-on Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA)/CPQ coaching on configuration, design trade-offs, and best practices
- Own end-to-end architecture of Product-to-Cash lifecycle (quoting, contracting, ordering, fulfilment, billing, invoicing, revenue, customer success, customer support)
- Architect and govern billing system/platform for accurate invoicing, schedules, payments, dunning, revenue recognition
- Identify and resolve process and technology gaps across Product-to-Cash, defining and driving remediation
- Apply AI-first mindset using Agentforce and Claude-based solutions
- Hand over designs to development team with full context
- Work with SMEs and Product Owners during execution to address requirement gaps
- Extend and mature Product-to-Cash solution for new products, pricing, billing scenarios
- Translate business requirements into well-architected Salesforce and Revenue Cloud solutions
- Meet operational requirements (scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, availability, manageability)
- Research and develop POCs on emerging Salesforce and billing capabilities
- Promote design patterns and standard processes
- Partner with data and integration architects for data integrity, security, compliance, and flows between billing, ERP, and other systems
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture
- Contribute to enterprise architecture learning community

## Required Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of Salesforce experience across implementation, configuration, and solution design
- 3–5 years of Salesforce architecture experience (minimum required)
- Deep hands-on expertise in Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA)/CPQ with coaching/mentoring ability
- Proven experience producing HLD, LLD, conceptual diagrams, and managing architecture roadmaps
- Proven experience architecting end-to-end Product-to-Cash solutions (quoting through customer support)
- Strong experience with billing systems including invoicing, schedules, payments, dunning, revenue recognition
- Experience designing and governing cross-system integrations
- Ability to identify and resolve process and technology gaps across Product-to-Cash
- AI-first mindset with exposure to Agentforce and Claude-based solutions
- Experience with Salesforce Connected Apps from AppExchange
- Proven experience designing complex B2B SaaS Salesforce solutions
- Familiarity with managed packages (Gong, DocuSign CLM, Kantata, Gainsight, Showpad, Qualtrics or similar) is a plus
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud
- Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills; communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Salesforce certifications (Application Architect or System Architect) preferred
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, C4, ArchiMate, etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Understanding of security architecture principles
