## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Evaluate data sources, resolve conflicts, and model entities and relationships.
- Prototype, test, and launch new data products from customer problems through product experiences.
- Define how data lands, is modeled and versioned, evaluated, released, and delivered to customers.
- Support interactive search, enrichment lookups, large result sets, and change alerts with predictable performance.
- Use deterministic pipelines, models, and agent loops to build reliable data products at scale.
- Measure coverage, correctness, freshness, and source traceability; build evaluation harnesses for model-generated results.
- Collaborate cross-functionally from problem framing through delivery, creating clarity and scope.
- Talk to customers, evaluate approaches, and ship high-quality, maintainable features.
- Build frameworks and reusable patterns that eliminate classes of problems.
- Operate production systems where data quality and reliability matter.
- Investigate wrong answers, dataset disagreements, quality issues, lineage, and failure recovery.

## Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience building products customers rely on.
- Experience owning products end to end as both an engineer and product-minded partner.
- Experience leading ambiguous, cross-functional technical work from framing through delivery.
- Empathetic communication and strong collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with, or ability to quickly learn, the listed technology stack.
- Production experience with data quality and reliability requirements.
- Comfort with SQL and Python, data models, distributed jobs, lineage, and failure recovery.

## Nice to Haves
- Entity resolution, graph data, or temporal data experience.
- Experience putting an LLM in the critical path of a shipped product and proving its correctness.
- Search infrastructure or data-intensive product systems experience.
- Experience evaluating and operating on large third-party datasets.

## Compensation
- Annual salary: $170,000–$300,000.
