## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Grow, steer, and motivate the engineering organization, developing leaders and establishing clear goals and operating rhythms.
- Serve as the company's technical face in senior-level meetings with government customers and C-Suite.
- Collaborate with CEO and leadership team to develop and execute company strategy.
- Translate business and technical strategy into an executable engineering roadmap.
- Ensure team is resourced, structured, and focused to deliver high-quality software with reliability, performance, sustainability, and security.
- Attract and retain exceptional talent, making the team the most AI-native telecom.
- Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with Business Development, Product, Design, Security, and Operations.

## Qualifications
- 9+ years experience, including at least one startup or growth tech company.
- Impeccable technical chops.
- 3+ years of people leadership, including hiring, promoting, performance management, and mentoring at least one direct report to lead.
- Genuine excitement about privacy and defense use cases.
- Clear written and verbal communication.

## Nice to Haves
- Telecommunications or network experience.
- Security, privacy, or defense background.
- Existing security clearance or willingness to obtain one.
