## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### M&A Integration Program Management
- Own end-to-end legal integration across global acquisitions, from integration strategy during diligence through post-close, in partnership with Corporate Development’s Integration Management Office (IMO).
- Build integrated legal roadmaps with clear dependencies and critical paths, and establish governance, reporting, and escalation frameworks for each transaction.
- Prepare and lead leadership readouts on legal integration status.
- Implement value-realization and risk-retirement tracking, and codify repeatable legal integration playbooks.

### Program Leadership & Execution
- Act as the control tower across concurrent transactions and initiatives, ensuring legal work is resourced, sequenced, and prioritized.
- Build and manage integrated plans, milestones, and KPIs across complex, cross-functional workstreams.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; hold teams accountable while maintaining strong relationships.
- Maintain high-quality documentation, decision logs, and scalable processes.

### Cross-Functional Engagement & Deal Support
- Partner with Corporate Development, Finance, People, Tax, Security & Privacy, and business teams to identify impacts on Legal processes, systems, and organization.
- Support diligence and signing-to-close workstreams, including data room logistics, conditions-to-close tracking, and transaction document repositories.
- Coordinate a hub-and-spoke model mapping acquired legal teams and matters to Lyft Legal functional owners.

### Outside Counsel and Vendor Management
- Manage outside counsel and vendor relationships, including engagement agreements, alternative fee arrangements, budgets, billing guidelines, and communications.
- Manage multi-jurisdictional and cross-border engagements involving U.S., UK, EU, and Nordic counsel.
- Partner with Legal Operations on e-billing, matter management, and platform optimization.

### Entity Management & Governance
- Support legal entity integration, registered agent and entity management, corporate housekeeping, and governance harmonization.
- Partner with Corporate, Tax, and Finance to maintain accurate entity records and meet post-close compliance and reporting obligations.

### Operating Model, Technology & Reporting
- Evolve the Legal integration operating model, including governance, intake, and cross-functional operating rhythms.
- Own intake and prioritization for Legal integration work using impact, risk, effort, and strategic alignment criteria.
- Onboard acquired entities, matters, and spend into matter management, eBilling, and contract management platforms; lead change management.
- Develop metrics, benchmarking, and dashboards measuring integration progress, legal spend, performance, and efficiency.

## Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in legal operations, BizOps, program management, or consulting, with direct experience in M&A integration, large-scale program management, or strategic initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, executive presence, and ability to drive clarity with senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of financial management principles, including deal budgets, integration cost tracking, and value realization.
- Experience supporting corporate transactions, due diligence, or post-close integration, ideally with an Integration Management Office (IMO).
- Familiarity with cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters; European experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive outcomes in high-stakes, fast-moving environments.
- Strong systems thinking and business partnering skills.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial approach with strong ownership and follow-through.
- Experience implementing and managing legal technology solutions, including change management.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and transactions.
- Flexibility in embracing frequent change and shifting priorities.

## Nice-to-Haves

- Experience with Onit, Legal Tracker, Ironclad, Evisort, Tonkean, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with Google Suite.
