## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### Operations & Systems
- Build the infrastructure—including vendor relationships, budgets, tooling, and processes—that enables Workplace to scale.
- Manage the workplace budget and report on spend, utilization, and ROI.
- Hire and develop a team as the company scales.

### Expansion & Space Planning
- Lead site selection, lease negotiations with legal and finance support, and buildouts for new offices.
- Own headcount-driven capacity planning, forecasting space needs against hiring plans and adjusting in real time.
- Partner with local counsel, contractors, and vendors to establish compliant, functional offices in new markets.
- Build repeatable playbooks so each new market opens faster and more predictably.

### Employee & Visitor Experience
- Own the day-to-day experience of company offices.
- Design and run onsite programs, including daily operations, offsites, board meetings, and executive visits.
- Set standards for visitor, candidate, and guest experiences.
- Build employee feedback loops to continuously improve workplace experience across locations.
- Build and lead a team of Office Coordinators across newly formed offices.

### Events
- Plan and execute company-wide events, including team offsites, all-hands meetings, and external-facing gatherings.
- Manage event budgets, vendors, and logistics end to end.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams on programming that reinforces culture and connection.

## Requirements

- 7+ years of experience in Workplace, Facilities, or a closely related operations role.
- Experience opening or scaling offices across multiple markets or countries.
- Track record of building systems and playbooks, not just running programs.
- Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills.
- Experience owning budgets and accountability for outcomes.
- Hospitality mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and balancing scalable planning with hands-on execution.
- Excellent judgment about when to build for scale versus keeping operations scrappy.

## Nice to Have

- International experience, including real estate considerations across markets.

## Compensation & Benefits

- **Base salary:** $185,000–$240,000.
- Meaningful early-stage equity grant, commensurate with scope and level.
