## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and optimize data streaming and messaging architecture as the platform expands.
- Manage and enhance real-time data streaming platforms for robust ingestion and efficient processing.
- Take end-to-end ownership of supply line visibility data integration across third-party, in-house, and Ryder-managed execution platforms.
- Lead architecture and delivery of large-scale integrations with enterprise supply chain execution systems.
- Transform complex data challenges into streamlined, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to enhance data-driven decision-making and foster innovative data practices.

## Requirements
- Track record solving real-time data challenges at large-scale enterprises, including common dual-write solutions.
- Technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration across an organization.
- Advanced proficiency coding in Python at a Staff level.
- 5+ years experience in software development.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Experience or strong interest in the freight and logistics industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern big data technologies.
- Infrastructure development experience with big data tools such as Databricks, Kafka, Spark.
- Solid foundation in data analytics and big data technologies.
