## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for highly technical roles across teams.
- Build targeted searches to identify technical talent across multiple industries and research communities.
- Research, identify, and engage passive candidates through personalized outreach.
- Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and technical leaders to understand requirements, priorities, and market dynamics.
- Translate complex or evolving role requirements into effective sourcing strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with high-potential candidates.
- Conduct talent mapping, competitive intelligence, and market research.
- Improve sourcing methodologies, tooling, and recruiting processes.
- Track sourcing metrics and provide market insights.
- Represent the company through a thoughtful candidate experience.
- Support employer branding and the technical talent narrative.
- Stay current on sourcing technology, AI-assisted sourcing tools, and emerging channels.
- Build diverse candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill and specialized roles.

## Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience sourcing technical talent in a high-growth startup or technology company.
- Expertise with applicant tracking systems, preferably Ashby.
- Strong experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing tools, Boolean search, Indeed, GitHub, research platforms, and creative sourcing techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive candidates for difficult-to-fill technical roles.
- Experience partnering directly with engineering leaders and hiring managers.
- Strong research and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand technical domains and evaluate technical talent.
- Ability to manage multiple searches while maintaining a high quality bar.
- Data-driven approach to sourcing strategy and pipeline management.
- Strong closing and negotiation skills.
- High ownership and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

## Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting for hardware, robotics, industrial automation, or deep-tech companies.
- Experience sourcing for materials science, controls engineering, or applied AI/ML disciplines.
- Familiarity with early-stage or seed-to-Series B recruiting environments.
- Experience building a sourcing function or playbook from scratch.
