## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design, build, and release features and products in the Lyft Rider application.
- Define long-term roadmaps and architecture based on technology and product needs.
- Oversee major changes to Android architecture.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver a high-quality user experience.
- Evaluate and implement technologies to improve developer efficiency.
- Mentor and support developers through code reviews, design feedback, and technical guidance.
- Solve complex real-time data transfer and synchronization issues.
- Implement pixel-perfect designs with advanced interactions.

## Requirements
- **6+ years of experience** as an Android developer.
- Advanced knowledge of Java and Kotlin.
- Familiarity with RxJava.
- Strong knowledge of architecture and design patterns.
- Experience working on and shipping large-scale Android applications.
- Strong product sense and care for usability and design.
- Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to build complex products.

## Compensation
- Expected base pay range in the San Francisco area: **$176,000–$220,000**.
- Potential equity, bonus, and benefits are not included in the base pay range.
