## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a sales engineering team across the United States and EMEA.
- Hire new team members and establish standards for sales engineering excellence.
- Build sales engineering programs and product lines that enable sales teams to demonstrate the value of Anaconda’s product portfolio.
- Integrate sales engineers with sales pods through aligned structures, collaboration, and shared accountability for deal velocity and value.
- Channel customer-derived technical feedback to product engineering teams.
- Establish technical excellence standards while developing business acumen and customer engagement skills.
- Create sales enablement content, including technical demonstrations, videos, and blog posts.
- Manage cross-functional relationships with sales leadership, marketing, and product engineering.
- Set team direction and operating rhythms that balance technical rigor with high-velocity enterprise sales.

## Requirements
- Deep understanding of sales engineering or solutions engineering, ideally involving technical products sold to data science, AI, or engineering buyers.
- Experience managing and developing technical teams and building high-performance cultures.
- Track record of building programs, product lines, or go-to-market motions from scratch.
- Experience managing complex cross-functional relationships between technical and commercial organizations.
- Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing senior engineers.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting priorities and ambiguity.

## Nice-to-haves
- Leadership of sales engineering or solutions engineering teams selling technical products to data science, AI, or engineering buyers.
- Hands-on experience with data science tooling, AI platforms, or developer infrastructure products.
- Experience with cloud, on-premises, and Kubernetes deployment models.
- Commercial experience in customer success or sales.
- Experience at startup, high-growth, open-source, or developer-focused companies.
- Technical credibility with customers and a learn-by-doing approach to team development.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $149,500–$176,500 annually.
