## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth daily field operations by creating and refining playbooks and SOPs, overseeing aspects of contractor relationship management, and performing occasional quality checks in the field and depot.
- Own end-to-end processes such as invoicing and asset tracking.
- Audit functional-area performance against SLAs, proactively identifying and escalating risks and inefficiencies.
- Support relationships with city partners and address market-specific operational issues and special projects.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify root causes, using field-operations and data insights to collaborate with teams, implement solutions, and improve performance.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders, clients, and vendors, including during challenging conversations.
- Manage shifting priorities effectively while maintaining a positive, solution-oriented attitude.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree **or** 4+ years of experience overseeing operations in a complex, fast-moving, rapidly changing environment such as a distribution warehouse, marketplace, or delivery operation.
- Experience using Google Sheets and other data-analysis tools to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to understand the broader context of the work.
- Proven track record of data-based problem-solving and ability to think on your feet.

## Nice to Have
- Experience in a warehouse or hands-on operations environment.
- Interest in biking, bikeshare, sustainable transportation, and city planning.
- Familiarity with AI tools for day-to-day productivity.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay range for the Washington, D.C. area: **$66,240–$82,800**, excluding potential equity, bonus, and benefits.
