## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the process for creating hands-on recommendations for incorporating cash flow insights into lending decisions, using best practices for account-level decisioning.
- Improve customer usage of Plaid insight data through adoption of custom solutions tailored to specific customer needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Plaid’s credit insights and credit policy implementation in support of Data Science, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams.
- Translate lender objectives and credit strategies into actionable decisioning recommendations.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure Plaid’s credit solutions are practical, scalable, and impactful for customers.
- Help customers optimize how they use alternative data across the lending lifecycle.

## Qualifications
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in business analysis, credit risk, underwriting, or a related function.
- Deep understanding of credit risk and the development of underwriting models.
- Hands-on credit expertise building and maintaining real-world credit policies for lenders.
- Knowledge of the lending lifecycle and how to optimize each step, including marketing, acquisitions, customer management, and collections or recoveries.
- Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience applying cash flow-based underwriting or alternative data within consumer or SMB lending.
