## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Develop action-oriented insights to drive product strategy through observational causal analysis and experiment meta-analysis, clearly communicating results to stakeholders up to the C-suite.
- Improve experimentation practices by guiding the design, execution, and analysis of A/B tests.
- Create ETLs, tables, dashboards, and self-serve tools that help data scientists and cross-functional partners access and interact with data.
- Design, evaluate, and measure team-level KPIs for quarterly goal setting and impact assessment.
- Engage stakeholders to gather feedback and share progress throughout projects, ensuring alignment on business goals and outcomes.
- Mentor junior data scientists and business partners in data science methods and best practices.

## Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or Operations Research.
- Master's degree holders: **5+ years** of industry experience in applied science or data science roles.
- Ph.D. holders: **4+ years** of industry experience in applied science or data science roles.
- Expertise querying relational databases with SQL and programming in languages such as R or Python.
- Deep understanding of online experimentation, A/B testing, causal inference, and statistical techniques.
- Strong technical communication and data storytelling skills, including communicating complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to address ambiguous problems by creating an action plan, gathering feedback, and iterating.
- Comfort working in innovative, fast-paced environments with a bias toward action.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: **$190,800–$267,100 USD**.
