## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Manage and perform routine maintenance on manufacturing and facilities equipment, including cleaning, calibrations, inspections, testing, etc.
- Manage and perform reactive maintenance as needed.
- Develop and execute improvement initiatives for minimizing equipment downtime, improving team efficiency, etc.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for production staff on all facilities and maintenance issues.
- Assist the Facilities and Safety Manager in managing various site projects, including meeting with contractors and performing administrative work.
- Manage assembly and moving of furniture and equipment as needed.

## Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a facilities and/or manufacturing maintenance leadership role.
- Experience with development of preventive maintenance schedules and familiarity with CMMS systems.
- Understanding of basic safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Understanding of basic building code requirements.
- Basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
- Basic finish skills, including paint and drywall.
- Ability to read and interpret building plans.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds, work within a confined space, climb ladders, and perform other physical tasks.
- Ability to work occasional overtime/weekends as needed to support production goals and equipment shutdowns.
- Demonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with automation equipment and/or PLCs.
- Certifications in any facilities discipline, particularly mechanical, electrical, or plumbing.
- First aid/CPR certification.
- Forklift experience/certification.
