## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build user-facing aspects of the Starbridge platform in close collaboration with product, design, and engineering.
- Build highly performant, stable frontends that explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Create structures that support rapid iteration and responsiveness to customer feedback.
- Set a high bar for user experience and interface quality.
- Measure and optimize application performance.
- Contribute proactively to team success in a blend of synchronous and asynchronous work.
- Help build an in-person team culture.

## Requirements
- **7+ years** of software engineering experience in modern web ecosystems.
- Experience working at a startup or smaller company with meaningful engineering impact.
- **5+ years** of experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, CSS, and other frontend technologies.
- Strong focus on UX and UI quality.
- Understanding of how code affects performance, including how to measure and optimize it.
- Collaborative, proactive communication and teamwork.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a technical lead making architectural design decisions.
- Experience with GitHub CI/CD.
