## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the technical recruiting cycle end-to-end, including sourcing, outreach, interviews, and closing.
- Represent Exa externally and attract top-tier engineers, researchers, and operators.
- Partner with founders and team leads to scope roles and identify high-leverage hires.
- Build and optimize recruiting systems and workflows using Exa’s in-house agentic search tools.
- Experiment with creative sourcing strategies in the competitive San Francisco startup market.
- Help shape Exa’s talent brand and recruiting culture as the company scales.

## Requirements
- 2+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles in startups or high-growth technology companies.
- Familiarity with San Francisco startup culture and identifying and attracting top startup talent.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to tell a compelling story and sell a vision.
- Technical literacy and the ability to communicate engineering projects to technical candidates.
- A builder mindset with an interest in designing recruiting systems.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment.
