## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Support the design and validation of a commercial product.
- Contribute to the design of a regenerative drying and purification system for efficient, continuous production of high-purity hydrogen.
- Characterize thermal and separation processes.
- Develop control systems and optimize operating parameters to meet reliability and cost constraints.
- Oversee an experimental test station as the directly responsible individual.
- Develop a data analysis framework to provide insights into long-term physicochemical phenomena.
- Work with vendors to design and develop custom components as needed.

## Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a **B.S. or M.S.** in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
- Comfortable working with basic mechanical and electrical components, troubleshooting independently, and taking ownership of hands-on laboratory work.
- Strong fundamentals and problem-solving intuition in one or more of the following areas:
  - Thermodynamics
  - Fluid mechanics
  - Heat and mass transfer
  - Reaction kinetics
  - Phase equilibria
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment, learn, iterate, and execute with velocity.
- Available to start in August or September 2026 and work onsite in Mountain View, CA.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to follow-through and accountability.
- Clear, thoughtful communicator who works well on small, collaborative teams.
