## Job Description

## Role Scope
- Own the robotic weld cells: programming, fixturing interface, and weld quality at production rate.
- Develop weld programs for structural steel assemblies: procedures, parameters, and sequencing that hold distortion.
- Commission new cells with integrators and take them from acceptance to rate.
- Drive first-pass yield up with data: rework cut at the parameter level.

## What We're Looking For
- Programmed and run robotic welding in production, not just in a lab.
- Deep knowledge of GMAW: parameters, transfer modes, and arc interpretation.
- Solved distortion and penetration problems on heavy weldments.
- Work to WPS discipline and can write one.
- Partner with quality on inspections and the fixes they drive.

**Bonus**
- AWS D1.1 familiarity.
- Fanuc, ABB, or Yaskawa arc packages.
- Offline programming.
- Fixture design input.
