## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Maintain generated database types so autocomplete and type inference remain reliable.
- Ensure compatibility across Node, Deno, Bun, browsers, Cloudflare Workers, and React Native/Expo.
- Support dual ESM/CJS publishing and correct type resolution across module resolution modes.
- Develop realtime capabilities involving long-lived WebSocket connections, reconnection, subscriptions, and presence semantics.
- Keep SDKs aligned with platform changes across authentication, realtime, storage, PostgREST, and edge runtime services.
- Write RFCs, migration guides, release notes, changelogs, and documentation.
- Improve SDK usability for AI coding agents.

## Requirements
- Expert-level TypeScript, including generics, conditional types, and mapped types.
- Experience authoring or maintaining a published library with a public API and external consumers.
- Open-source maintainer experience, including issue triage, external pull-request review, release automation, changelogs, semantic versioning, and security reports.
- Fluency with npm packaging, dual ESM/CJS builds, export maps, type resolution, and semantic versioning.
- Experience with unit, type-level, and end-to-end testing against a real stack.
- Strong written communication for design documents, changelogs, and public issue responses.
- Ability to work autonomously, scope work, ship independently, and communicate tradeoffs.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working asynchronously or with globally distributed teams.
- Comfort solving developer-focused problems, navigating ambiguity, and moving quickly.
