## Job Description

## What you’ll do as a People Operations Specialist at Vanta
- **System Administration**: Maintain core HR systems (e.g., HRIS, performance platforms, onboarding tools).
- **Data Integrity & Reporting**: Own accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of employee data.
- **Automation & Workflow Optimization**: Identify manual processes and build scalable solutions using automation and integrations. Translate business needs into efficient processes.
- **Employee Lifecycle Administration**: Process employment changes including new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers.
- **US Immigration Administration**: Own day-to-day US visa processes (H-1B transfers, PERM applications, etc.), partnering with counsel and stakeholders.
- **Policy & Documentation Ownership**: Maintain and update People policies, process documentation, and system configurations. Serve as resource for People systems questions.
- **Compliance & Audits**: Ensure configurations and data meet compliance requirements (e.g., I-9s, audits, employment verifications). Lead audit data pulls.
- **Teammate Experience**: Serve as resource via ticketing system for HR systems, data updates, and process questions.

## How to be successful in this role
- 2-3 years’ People Ops experience in a high growth, fast-paced environment.
- Strong interest in HR systems, data, and operations with prior experience in HRIS (e.g., HiBob, Workday, Ashby, Culture Amp).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong sense of data integrity.
- Ability to build scalable systems and automate processes using tools and integrations.
- Navigate ambiguity with bias for action; bring structure to undefined issues.
- Manage sensitive data with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving, operational rigor, and project management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication; collaborate across teams.
- Experience or openness towards building with AI.
- Proficiency with G-Suite, Slack, Zoom; quick learner of new software.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Open to using AI responsibly to improve efficiency.
