## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build a world-class finance function using Numeric’s products and internal tools.
- Design and operate best-in-class procure-to-pay, quote-to-cash, month-end close, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario-planning processes.
- Communicate company and department-level financial performance, establish constraints for leaders, and provide actionable insights.
- Partner with executive stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and go-to-market teams on P&L performance.
- Provide feedback on Numeric’s products and systems for transforming accounting and finance workflows.

## Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience in corporate accounting, FP&A, or finance at an early-stage startup.
- Corporate accounting and finance process expertise, including designing processes from first principles.
- Strong data analysis and Excel skills, with experience interpreting and working with financial data.
- SQL skills are a plus.
- Comfort building tools with large language models.
- Ability to distill operational complexity into clear, actionable insights.
- Structured problem-solving skills and the ability to drive execution in ambiguous situations.
