## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### People Systems
- Oversee HR and People systems, including UKG Ready, and troubleshoot system issues.
- Partner with the People/HR team to implement system improvements, data updates, workflows, and enhancements.
- Serve as the first point of contact for People Operations tickets and escalate requests as needed.
- Automate manual tasks and build processes in systems and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in evaluating and implementing people platforms and provide training when necessary.

### Onboarding
- Own the transition from candidate to new hire and deliver a successful onboarding experience.
- Manage onboarding for new hires, including pre-start communications.
- Handle new-hire additions, system permissions, user access, personalization, data auditing, and backend configurations.
- Set up onboarding in UKG, send new-hire documents, schedule onboarding sessions, process I-9s and employee agreements.
- Partner with IT on account and laptop creation.

### Compliance and People Operations
- Manage People Operations inquiries, system administration, and stakeholder support.
- Maintain complete, compliant, and secure employee records in paper and electronic formats.
- Validate required documentation and retention, segregate sensitive records, and establish filing standards, retention schedules, and SOPs.
- Refine employee data practices and processes.
- Monitor, track, and report key HR metrics.
- Support People compliance initiatives and audits.
- Research and monitor changes to compliance requirements.
- Partner with People Operations on processes and projects.
- Maintain People Operations trackers.
- Perform quarterly on-site maintenance of sensitive files.

## Requirements and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in HR or People Operations.
- Experience with HR systems; UKG Ready experience is a plus.
- Experience optimizing workflows and automations for efficiency and accuracy.
- Interest in using automation and AI tools to simplify processes, improve data integrity, and enhance the employee experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Comfortable presenting and facilitating training for employees or managers.
- Experience with HR compliance, policy, and reporting.
- Effective cross-functional communication and ability to build trust with employees at every level.
- Experience working in a high-growth or startup environment and navigating change.
- Ability to work one day per week in the Atlanta headquarters; local candidates only.

## Compensation
- Base pay range: **$75,000–$95,000 USD**.
