## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team across GL accounting, treasury, and technical accounting.
- Design, implement, and maintain accounting policies and processes for accurate and timely financial reporting under US GAAP.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, reducing timelines and establishing public-company-level controls and reconciliation standards.
- Serve as the in-house US GAAP technical accounting expert.
- Partner with Corporate Engineering on Oracle Fusion ERP optimization and automation across the accounting technology stack.
- Lead the external audit and partner with external auditors to ensure timely completion of the annual audit.
- Partner with Corporate Development to support M&A activities.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- CPA certification strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of experience with increasing scope and leadership responsibility; Big Four and industry experience preferred.
- Deep technical expertise in US GAAP and other financial reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated success shortening close cycles and building durable processes.

## Nice to Have
- Experience operating in a SOX-controlled environment.

## Compensation and Benefits
- San Francisco, CA: $230,000–$270,000 USD on-target earnings or base salary range.
- Denver, CO: $195,000–$229,000 USD on-target earnings or base salary range.
