## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Advise customers and resolve complex MongoDB problems across the database server, drivers, cloud, and infrastructure ecosystem.
- Support services including MongoDB Atlas and Cloud Manager, covering automation, backup, and monitoring.
- Solve customer challenges involving architecture, performance, recovery, security, and operating MongoDB at scale.
- Advocate for customer needs by interfacing with product management and development teams.
- Contribute to internal projects, including software development of support tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.
- Work frontline with customers and handle technical escalations independently as expertise develops.

## Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of systems administration and systems troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of scalable, highly available distributed systems.
- Network administration experience.
- Understanding of application architecture and data architecture and design.
- Understanding of database architecture and administration.
- Experience with performance tuning and benchmarking.
- Previous technical support experience.
- B.Tech, B.S., or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Genuine desire to help people, with advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, solve problems in real time, rapidly learn technical skills, and work effectively in a team.

## Nice to Have
- Familiarity with modern AI concepts and AI-assisted troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of one or more of Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Node.js, Go, PHP, or Perl.
