## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, design bespoke architectures, and deliver product demonstrations and proofs of concept across security, networking, and developer platforms.
- Lead or oversee technical onboarding and implementation as the primary executive and engineering contact for customers.
- Own customer discovery, demos, onboarding, technical health, risk management, and expansion strategy throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Monitor customer health scores and telemetry to accelerate time to value and resolve integration bottlenecks.
- Carry a variable quota tied to new business acquisition and/or account growth.
- Drive platform adoption, revenue retention, and strategic cross-sell and upsell opportunities based on product usage data.
- Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews and translate platform capabilities into business value and return on investment for executives.
- Maintain trusted technical relationships from onboarding through maturity, renewal, and expansion.
- Use AI agents and internal platforms to automate RFP and security questionnaire responses, sandbox provisioning, and telemetry monitoring.

## Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions engineering, customer engineering, sales engineering, or forward-deployed engineering.
- Broad expertise in web security, networking, routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation, cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and modern developer platforms.
- Experience operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment.
- Understanding of SaaS metrics, business-value translation, and enterprise sales cycles.
- Exceptional presentation and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to communicate technical details to C-suite audiences.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience building, deploying, or architecting solutions with Workers AI, AI Gateway, and Vectorize.
- Prompt engineering, large language model orchestration, or retrieval-augmented generation experience.
- Python or JavaScript proficiency for integration scripts, API connectors, and edge-computing functions.
