## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day budget administration across allocations, forecasts, commitments, purchase requests, purchase orders, invoices, accruals, actuals, and reconciliation.
- Partner with Business Marketing leadership and Strategic Finance to operationalize allocation decisions, maintain forecasts, prepare scenarios, and surface tradeoffs.
- Plan, pace, track, and manage spend across campaigns, events, agencies, contractors, regions, and shared services.
- Manage purchasing and contract lifecycles with Procurement, Finance, Legal, agencies, contractors, and vendors, including POs, SOWs, renewals, rate cards, and commitments.
- Maintain a trusted global view of spend; reconcile conflicting inputs, identify variances, duplicate costs, timing differences, and at-risk spend, and escalate material issues early.
- Build models, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses connecting investments to business goals.
- Partner with Data Science and Analytics to improve understanding of ROI, effectiveness, and the relationship between spend and outcomes.
- Build AI-enabled tools and workflows to simplify budget management, reconciliation, reporting, and approvals.

## Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in business operations, strategic finance, FP&A, marketing operations, business analytics, consulting, or a related quantitative role in a fast-moving, matrixed organization.
- Hands-on experience managing significant, large-scale budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, commitments, accruals, invoices, and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to investigate messy data, answer ad hoc questions, and identify business insights.
- Practical understanding of purchasing, contracts, agencies, vendors, and spend operations.
- Clear communication and ability to build trust and alignment across marketing functions, regions, and shared services without formal authority.
- AI-native builder mindset with an interest in simplifying repetitive operational workflows.

## Nice-to-haves
- B2B business understanding.
- Experience partnering with Data Science and Analytics on ROI and effectiveness measurement.
