## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead full-lifecycle recruiting from initial outreach through offer close for key roles across the company.
- Partner with founders and hiring managers to refine job descriptions, requirements, interview processes, hiring rubrics, and interview questions.
- Source passive candidates and determine when to engage retained or contingency agencies or hiring-team support.
- Build trust-based candidate relationships, understand candidate motivations, and close critical hires.
- Use recruiting metrics to guide activity, present findings to hiring managers, experiment, and reduce time-to-hire while maintaining candidate experience.
- Represent company culture with candidates, agencies, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Own both hiring strategy and recruiting operations across multiple searches.

## Requirements
- 1–3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience at a Seed through Series D startup.
- Strong track record sourcing and hiring passive talent, including effective outbound communication and A/B testing.
- Ability to operate as a generalist and manage multiple searches with urgency and strong stakeholder alignment.
- Candidate-selling and closing skills, including navigating competing offers without overselling.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience working closely with a Head of Talent during major growth phases and helping build and scale a recruiting function.
- Experience using AI tools to reduce tedious work while preserving candidate experience.
- Ability to understand engineering roles, distinguish strong from exceptional candidates, and identify overlooked talent.
