> The Senior Solutions Architect will guide enterprise adoption of the Lakebase transactional database product, designing customer solutions, leading technical engagements, and influencing product strategy. The role requires extensive OLTP expertise, customer-facing pre-sales experience, cloud proficiency, and strong SQL and Python skills.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across the assigned territory.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and expert Solutions Architect, building technical credibility with stakeholders to drive product adoption and vision.
- Enable clients at scale through workshops and customer-facing collateral that increases technical knowledge and thought leadership.
- Influence the product roadmap by translating field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
- Act as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in mission-critical environments.
- Co-plan large territories with Account Executives and operate in coordinated, cross-functional efforts across GTM and R&D teams.
- Collaborate with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.
- Develop presentations, demonstrations, and other assets that support meaningful product adoption.

## Requirements
- 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales, with a proven track record of designing and delivering client-facing solutions.
- Experience influencing OLTP products with market insight to shape and prioritize roadmap capabilities.
- Experience architecting solutions that integrate transactional data systems within broader Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
- Infrastructure, platform, and administration expertise in disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and migrations between vendors or from on-premises to cloud.
- 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting role influencing technical executives, driving high-level data strategy and product adoption.
- Proficiency in programming, debugging, and problem-solving using SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience building solutions within major public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Broad experience in at least two of data engineering, data warehousing, AI, machine learning, governance, transactional systems, application development, and streaming.
- Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Track record of driving complex projects to completion in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
