## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Identify knowledge gaps, latent assumptions, and open questions with stakeholders to prioritize impactful research.
- Plan, conduct, and analyze qualitative and quantitative studies, including usability tests, in-depth interviews, and in-product surveys.
- Balance research speed with rigor and adapt methods to constraints.
- Triangulate insights from user research, product usage, support, and market signals.
- Distill complex data into clear, compelling stories for product, design, engineering, and executive stakeholders.
- Help shape the research practice, evolve processes, and embed user-centered thinking across the organization.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX research, product research, or a related field, ideally in enterprise SaaS or technical platform environments.
- Experience owning research projects end-to-end, from scoping through execution and analysis, using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Strong synthesis and storytelling skills.
- Experience shaping product direction through generative research and iterative usability testing.
- Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces with a bias toward action.
- Curiosity about complex systems, technical workflows, or developer tools.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, scope projects appropriately, and deliver high-quality work on time.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Human Factors, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Experience working on AI products and understanding of how these technologies affect user interactions.
- Familiarity with design thinking frameworks, usability evaluation techniques, and A/B testing.
- Interest in leading and growing a small UX research team.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay range: **$194,000–$260,000 per year**.
- Additional compensation may include equity and/or commission, depending on the position offered.
- Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
- Hybrid work location.
