## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own onboarding end-to-end, including pre-boarding documentation, account setup, background checks, and handoffs to IT, Payroll, and Workplace.
- Facilitate twice-monthly, in-person onboarding cohorts in San Francisco.
- Manage the first-90-days support structure, including 45/90-day check-ins, buddy programs, onboarding surveys, and follow-up actions.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions during US hours; resolve issues, route escalations, and maintain knowledge-base documentation.
- Write and maintain onboarding standard operating procedures.
- Develop onboarding paths for rehires and international hires and improve parity between in-office and remote onboarding.
- Automate repetitive People Operations tasks using AI, including status tracking, packet assembly, provisioning checklists, and survey analysis.

## Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR coordination, or onboarding at a high-growth technology company.
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS; Rippling preferred.
- Working knowledge of Form I-9 and employment eligibility verification, including retention and audit requirements.
- Strong documentation and knowledge-base practices.
- Ability to use AI tools and automation to improve operational leverage.
- Discretion when handling compensation, immigration, and personal data.
- Ability to work calmly and independently in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience establishing or rebuilding an onboarding program.
- Immigration or visa coordination experience, including H-1B, PERM, or TN processes.
- Global onboarding experience.
- Experience with LangSmith, Claude, or similar tools.
