## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Develop and execute pricing and packaging strategies across GitLab’s portfolio, including Premium, Ultimate, GitLab Duo, AI, credit-based, and usage-based products.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Product Marketing, Finance, go-to-market teams, Sales, Deal Desk, and fulfillment on commercial models and monetization strategy.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, customer data, and usage data to make evidence-based recommendations.
- Form hypotheses, conduct structured analyses, validate findings, and recommend actions.
- Conduct pricing reviews and identify opportunities to improve pricing and packaging.
- Evaluate new business models and monetization approaches.
- Support product launches and map new stock keeping units (SKUs) to products and feature sets.
- Monitor post-launch pricing and packaging performance and apply learnings to ongoing strategy.
- Communicate recommendations clearly, influence senior leaders, and build alignment among stakeholders.

## Requirements
- Significant experience leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) pricing strategy and analysis across products or a complex portfolio.
- Experience with financial analysis and modeling.
- Experience using business intelligence tools such as Sisense or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to turn complex data into clear, practical recommendations.
- Experience framing ambiguous or complex problems and facilitating executive decisions amid competing priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-influence skills, including credibility with senior management.
- Track record of maintaining cross-functional alignment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Intellectual curiosity and comfort working through ambiguity in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

## Compensation
- United States base salary: **$139,200–$196,000 USD annually**.
