## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build and execute strategic account plans to expand Censys’s internet intelligence footprint across target customers and meet sales quotas.
- Translate customers’ business requirements and Censys internet-scan data into designs that reduce attack surface and reveal hidden risk.
- Drive adoption of the Censys Platform within security workflows and help customers achieve measurable security outcomes.
- Conduct discovery into prospects’ and customers’ technical, operational, and commercial priorities.
- Partner with Customer Success, Customer Support, Specialists, Channel resources, and professional services to support implementation, adoption, and value realization.
- Deliver demos, presentations, webinars, workshops, conference presentations, and technical validation engagements to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Lead technical validation efforts and differentiate Censys from platform-first vendors and point solutions.
- Identify technical stakeholders and develop security and attack-surface-management roadmaps grounded in Censys data.
- Maintain technical and professional growth and use AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.

## Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering.
- Expertise in at least one of networking, network security, cybersecurity, private or public cloud security, SOC/endpoint, or SASE.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and gaining buy-in; customer-facing or pre-sales experience is preferred.
- Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
- Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing network security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, or SOC transformation solutions.
- Experience partnering with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
- Experience with complex sales involving long sales cycles, multiple buying centers, and multi-product solutions is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for in-person customer meetings.

## Compensation and Benefits
- High cost-of-living locations, including San Francisco Bay, New York City, and Seattle: $207,000–$248,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility and equity.
- All other locations: $186,000–$237,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility and equity.
