## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Partner strategically with Engineering, Product, and Design leaders on team design, leadership effectiveness, talent density, retention, and change.
- Experiment with AI-enabled People workflows for manager enablement, insight generation, communications, and operating rhythms.
- Lead organization design and headcount planning, including reporting lines, role definitions, spans and layers, contractor strategy, and future organizational structure.
- Run the quarterly Signal Review cycle end-to-end, including manager preparation, calibration, monitor/at-risk categorization, level corrections, and follow-through.
- Use qualitative signals and people data to identify hotspots, flight risks, manager gaps, and team-level patterns, then develop practical interventions.
- Manage complex employee relations matters, performance improvement plans, investigations, resignations, probation issues, and terminations in partnership with Legal and People Operations.
- Coach technical leaders on difficult conversations, promotion readiness, organizational changes, feedback, accountability, and team health.
- Help shape and roll out People programs covering manager enablement, career pathing, leveling consistency, compensation cycles, engagement follow-up, and change management.

## Requirements

- 10+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or People Partner.
- Meaningful experience supporting Engineering, Product, Design, Research, or similarly technical organizations.
- Experience at an AI-native, developer-tools, product-led, or high-growth technology company.
- Strong business judgment and ability to connect people decisions to company priorities, product velocity, leadership effectiveness, and team performance.
- Excellent judgment in sensitive employee relations situations, including performance, conduct, probation, resignation, and termination matters.
- Ability to provide candid feedback to senior technical leaders while maintaining strong relationships and discretion.
- Comfort with ambiguity, rapid pace, and evolving systems.
- Professional fluency in English.
