## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
- Demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demos and proofs of concept through design and implementation.
- Develop technical champions within accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
- Present Snowflake roadmap features and functionality to customers and prospects.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Collaborate with sales engineers, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, ecosystem partners, and implementation partners.
- Build joint architectures and collaborate on account strategies and initiatives.
- Represent Snowflake at industry and customer events.
- Contribute to account and territory plans and execute initiatives across the broader ecosystem.

## Requirements
- Experience in solution engineering or solution architecture in a SaaS environment, or relevant analytics, data science, or data engineering industry experience.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demos.
- Understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
- Hands-on experience with SQL.
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Snowflake solutions.
- Strong written and verbal customer-facing communication skills.

## Nice-to-haves
- Financial services industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python.
- Experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Apache Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, and Git.
- Experience with artificial intelligence, data science, and machine learning technologies.
