## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead global sourcing strategy, OEM relationships, and capacity reservations for long-lead power-generation and grid-integration equipment across data-center projects.
- Negotiate framework and Master Purchase Agreements for gas turbines, reciprocating engines, fuel cells, transformers, MV/HV switchgear, substations, solar, and battery energy storage systems.
- Secure and manage manufacturing slots, deposits, milestones, warranties, liquidated damages, assignment rights, and allocation across sites and regions.
- Build relationships with OEM executives, utilities, EPCs, power producers, and development partners across North America, Japan and Asia, and Europe.
- Translate the global site and energy pipeline into equipment forecasts and procurement plans for off-grid and grid-integrated configurations.
- Coordinate equipment planning across US, EMEA, and APAC regional energy leads.
- Manage lead-time risk, supply-chain volatility, tariffs, country-of-origin exposure, alternative sourcing, and contingency plans.
- Establish standardized specifications, pooled orders, owner-furnished equipment processes, and commercial controls for third-party partners.
- Partner with engineering on power architecture, generation mix, interconnection, equipment specifications, and redeployability.
- Own commercial structures with Finance and Legal, including deposits, payment schedules, credit support, and executive approvals.
- Negotiate warranty, commissioning, long-term service, and spare-parts terms and monitor OEM performance.

## Requirements
- 12+ years in power equipment, grid infrastructure, or energy markets across at least two relevant areas, such as OEM commercial development, utility or power-producer sourcing, renewables or storage development, procurement, or EPC.
- Experience forecasting, planning, and procuring power-generation and grid-integration equipment for data centers, utilities, IPPs, or large industrial loads.
- Familiarity with gas turbines, reciprocating engines, fuel cells, GSU transformers, MV/HV switchgear, protection and substation equipment, solar, and BESS.
- Direct experience negotiating framework, master supply, or capacity-reservation agreements with major power-equipment OEMs.
- Experience with utility sourcing practices, including framework agreements, reservation orders, standard specifications, and OEM qualification programs.
- Experience negotiating framework or reservation agreements at $100M+ scale with executive-level OEM relationships.
- Experience working inside or directly with a major power-equipment OEM on commercial structures, capacity allocation, or new business models.
- Experience presenting strategy and risk to executive leadership or a board.
- Experience working with power-system design engineers on site architecture, generation mix, and interconnection.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power systems, construction management, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

## Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years of experience in data center, utility, or critical-environment power.
