## Job Description

## Key Responsibilities

- Foster a high-performing engineering pod with strong technical ownership.
- Coach and mentor engineers through regular feedback cycles and career development.
- Help scale the team through recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Contribute directly to architectural decisions and core system design.
- Participate in coding, code reviews, on-call, and hands-on implementation across the stack.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, quality, and automation.
- Partner with product and design to define requirements, plan sprints, and execute deliverables.
- Collaborate across functions to solve meaningful, data-driven problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure reliable releases and maintainability of core systems.

## Requirements

- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with modern full-stack technologies.
- 2+ years of experience leading and developing engineering teams in a scaling environment.
- Highly proficient with **React**, **Typescript**, **Node.js**, **PostgreSQL**, or similar modern stacks.
- Excited to stay hands-on with code and technical execution.
- Can balance people leadership with technical depth, delivery focus, and clarity in ambiguous contexts.
- Passionate about building impactful products in an early-stage, mission-driven company.
