> The Senior Solutions Engineer helps Digital Native and Scaleup customers in Spain adopt Databricks by designing architectures, delivering proofs of concept, and demonstrating business value. ## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with Databricks’ core product customers, primarily in the Digital Native segment, while supporting Greenfield (new logo) accounts in Spain.
- Provide technical and business value to customers in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Act as an expert in big data analytics and a trusted advisor on architecture, design, and implementation to drive adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Scale best practices by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications.
- Build the Databricks community in the region by leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Develop into a technical and/or industry specialist.

## Requirements
- Experience engaging customers in technical sales, challenging questions, guiding outcomes, and communicating technical and value propositions.
- Experience developing customer relationships and internal partnerships with Account Executives and other teams.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python or SQL, with willingness to learn Spark.
- Proficiency with Big Data Analytics technologies, including hands-on experience with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms.
- Experience with use-case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to audiences with varying levels of technical depth.
- Based in the Madrid region and within commuting distance for a hybrid schedule.
- Flexibility to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, events, and training.
- Business proficiency in Spanish and English.
