> Senior Solution Engineer partners with sales teams and customers to demonstrate Snowflake solutions, lead proofs of concept, navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, and close large deals. The role requires extensive pre-sales experience, strong technical and executive presentation skills, and expertise in databases, analytics, cloud technologies, SQL, and Python.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
- Demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demos and proofs of concept through design and implementation.
- Work directly with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize through sales cycles, and close business.
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and marketing.
- Conduct deep discovery of customer architecture frameworks and connect them with Snowflake data architecture.
- Expect approximately 30% travel.

## Requirements
- 7–8 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demos.
- Broad experience with large-scale database and/or data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies, including data lakes, data mesh, or data fabric.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
- Ability to connect customers’ business problems with Snowflake solutions.
- Ability to perform deep discovery of customer architectures.
- Must be based in Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, or South Carolina.
- A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.

## Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in data science or business administration.
- Experience working with global system integrators such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture.
