## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Design and run the operating cadence, including weekly business reviews, monthly all-team meetings, monthly finance and recruiting reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
- Improve internal communication across Enterprise Marketing by reducing noise in written channels and designing meetings and leadership offsites that produce decisions.
- Run the annual and half-year planning cycles, authoring top-down directional targets, collecting plans from teams, pressure-testing them, and aggregating them into a coherent narrative.
- Aggregate Enterprise Marketing plans into marketing’s annual priorities and present evidence and options when plans exceed available funding.
- Build a spend-efficiency and return-on-investment framework with finance partners.
- Connect budget and headcount investments to output performance and turn analysis into recommendations for executive audiences.
- Baseline how Enterprise Marketing uses Claude tools and publish an evidence-based assessment of where they improve work.
- Sequence automation opportunities, define success criteria, determine what should not be automated, and report the results.

## Requirements

- Background in marketing operations, strategy and operations, or business operations, with the ability to operate independently.
- Experience building operating cadences, planning processes, or business reviews from scratch in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
- Experience running an annual planning cycle end to end, including building the framework, cascading targets, collecting plans from teams, and aggregating them into one narrative.
- Ability to pressure-test plans and identify gaps without direct authority over the teams that created them.
- Hands-on financial modeling in spreadsheets and experience building spend-efficiency or return-on-investment frameworks.
- Strong executive writing skills, including business documents, recommendations, and reporting.
- Experience using AI tools to make workflows measurably faster and explaining how effectiveness was evaluated.
- Fluency with spreadsheets, business intelligence dashboards, project management software, and marketing or CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

## Nice-to-haves

- Experience owning operating cadence and planning processes for an organization of 100 or more people.
- Experience building a spend-efficiency or return-on-investment framework from scratch and partnering with finance on the business case.
- Experience operating across two or more leadership organizations with different priorities and operating styles.
- Experience redesigning internal communication, including meeting structures, messaging norms, or information flow.
- Experience at high-growth technology companies, including one with a strong marketing organization.
- Familiarity with pipeline measurement, marketing attribution, and lead-funnel operations.
- Working knowledge of SQL or business intelligence tooling.

## Compensation and benefits

- Annual salary: **$320,000–$320,000 USD**.
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Required field of study: A relevant field demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
- Hybrid policy: Staff are expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time; this role specifically expects at least two days per week from the San Francisco office.
- Visa sponsorship is available for eligible roles and candidates.
