## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own proactive communications plans for company launches and announcements, from messaging development through media outreach and post-launch measurement.
- Drive media relations by responding to inbound inquiries, pitching stories, staffing interviews, and managing reporter relationships across crypto and mainstream press.
- Develop messaging frameworks, blog posts, social copy, and web materials aligned with the company’s brand voice and communications strategy.
- Prepare spokespeople for media appearances by creating briefing documents with key messages, anticipated questions, and strategic guidance.
- Lead rapid-response communications for crisis and issues management, partnering with Legal, Policy, and executive leadership.

## Requirements
- 7+ years of communications experience at a PR agency or in-house communications team.
- At least 2 years of experience in the crypto or fintech ecosystem.
- Proven media-relations track record, including relationships with crypto press and success placing proactive stories and managing reactive cycles.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio translating complex crypto and technology topics for mainstream audiences.
- Experience supporting executive communications programs, including spokesperson preparation, media briefings, and senior-leader message development.
- Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to produce business-ready outputs and improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

## Compensation
- Annual base salary: $140,080–$164,800 USD.
- Additional compensation may include equity and bonus eligibility, plus medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
