## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Advise product teams as they develop, launch, and operate new products and features across multiple lines of business.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements involving complex partnerships and technology transactions; serve as primary legal counsel for partnerships from ideation through product implementation.
- Provide practical and creative legal advice and support on business matters in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Partner with business development, product, engineering, marketing, and public policy teams, serving as the Legal representative throughout product development and related marketing initiatives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive, long-term legal strategies that balance risk and business objectives.
- Prioritize workload to meet goals and deadlines as business priorities shift.
- Assist other teams with projects as needed.

## Requirements

- Law degree and membership in at least one state bar in good standing.
- At least 5 years of experience working in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong problem-solving, judgment, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with a broad range of commercial agreements and customer-facing terms.
- Ability to learn new areas of law, work independently, collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure.

## Nice to Have

- Experience advising clients on technology product development and/or partnership integration.

## Compensation and Benefits

- Expected base pay range for the San Francisco area: **$176,000–$220,000 USD annually**, excluding potential equity, bonus, and benefits.
