> Staff Analyst on the Finance & Strategy team responsible for owning analytical frameworks, designing standardized reporting, building business cases with ROI analysis, and providing data-driven strategic guidance to leadership on insurance operations and growth. Requires expert SQL, advanced Looker Studio, insurance domain expertise, and the ability to lead ambiguous projects.

## Job Description

## Key Responsibilities

**Analytical Framework & Strategy**
- Translate broad leadership objectives into structured analytical projects with defined milestones, moving from "answering questions" to "building solutions."
- Design and standardize reporting methodologies across the team to ensure that key business health metrics are calculated with unified logic across all operational functions.
- Lead the development of complex business cases for new initiatives, integrating ROI analysis with downstream data impact assessments.

**Cross-Functional Influence**
- Serve as the primary analytical consultant for department heads, helping them prioritize their upcoming initiatives as well as new ideas based on data-driven potential.
- Translate complex data into compelling, executive-ready narratives that don't just report numbers, but actively lead stakeholders to critical insights and balanced decisions regarding growth and profitability.

## Requirements
- Several years of experience in personal lines insurance analytics (Homeowners and Auto highly preferred).
- Expert-level SQL and experience / interest in building predictive models and leveraging AI.
- Advanced Looker Studio expertise, specifically in building executive reporting suites that roll up operational data into strategic dashboards.
- Deep mastery of insurance operational functions (auto and or property claims is a plus) with the strategic confidence to act as a "connective tissue" for leadership—leveraging a macro-view of the data to identify dependencies and opportunities across the entire value chain.
- Proven ability to manage "vague" projects, creating structure where none exists without needing daily direction.
- Degree in a quantitative field; CPCU or progress toward actuarial exams is a strong plus.
