## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Solve technical problems by writing code.
- Build new features for internal and external users and refactor existing features.
- Work across systems, processes, and technologies, including low-level systems and user interfaces.
- Drive application-platform architecture in alignment with team needs and the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with product, design, machine learning, infrastructure, clinical, quality assurance, and regulatory teams.
- Uphold engineering standards through consistent code quality, reviews, testing, and integration.
- Mentor teammates, learn continuously, and share knowledge.
- Ensure the quality of delivered software.
- Contribute to a SaaS platform supporting clinical-trial workflows, reliability, data integrity, and industry compliance.
- Support software validation expectations and inspection readiness.

## Requirements
- **Bachelor of Science or higher** in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- **0–2 years** of full life-cycle development experience in Python.
- Experience designing and building Python applications with FastAPI or Django.
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and work autonomously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Cloud-platform experience with AWS.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of an infrastructure-as-code framework.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI or other CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

## Compensation
- Annual cash compensation: **$96,750–$148,350**.
- Not overtime eligible.
