## Job Description

## What you’ll do as a Founding AE at Vanta
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle for downmarket accounts (0-400 employees) across Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and Chile
- Run fast and dynamic deal cycles independently
- Build and execute outbound strategies to generate pipeline across core LatAm markets, working closely with a dedicated SDR
- Convert inbound demand into closed-new business, while driving the majority of pipeline through self-sourced outbound
- Define and communicate the specific benefits of Vanta appropriate for each customer, including building sales materials and running demos in Spanish
- Help lay the sales playbook and go-to-market foundation for Vanta's expansion into Spanish-speaking LatAm
- Collect insights from prospects for our product development process

## How to be successful in this role
- Full native fluency in Spanish, with Portuguese a major plus
- Direct experience selling into LatAm markets
- 5+ years of full-cycle, quota-carrying closing experience, including a transactional/high-velocity sales background, even if your recent roles have skewed toward larger deals
- Experience in a founding AE or early-market-building role strongly preferred
- Proven ability to self-source pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold outreach; comfortable being the primary driver of your own pipeline rather than relying on inbound
- An entrepreneurial, "figure-it-out" mindset with a strong sense of ownership over your territory
- Experience in B2B SaaS; a background in cyber/GRC is a plus but not required
- Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship; East or Central time zone strongly preferred
