## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Review, revise, and negotiate commercial contracts with customers and prospects across EMEA, including customer paper agreements.
- Advise EMEA enterprise sales teams on contracting, including education, training, and communications about agreement changes.
- Provide strategic guidance on contracting, enablement, and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and update commercial legal playbooks.
- Revise and operationalize template documents in contract management and automation tools.
- Partner with Product to assess how product updates affect customer agreements.
- Develop and implement commercial contract lifecycle management best practices.
- Monitor legal trends and industry practices in SaaS and data privacy, including EU and UK requirements.
- Complete special projects as needed.

## Requirements
- Approximately 5 years of commercial contract negotiation experience at high-growth technology companies.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and finalizing sales agreements, SaaS and enterprise B2B transactions, and data processing agreements.
- Knowledge of GDPR and other data protection laws.
- Experience negotiating customer paper and global commercial transactions.
- Process-oriented approach with an interest in legal operations and workflow optimization.
- Track record of handling high-volume agreements quickly while mitigating risk and supporting revenue growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Qualified solicitor/lawyer, or equivalent, admitted to practice in Ireland, England & Wales, or another European jurisdiction.
- Professional fluency in English and French, including the ability to independently review, draft, and negotiate agreements in both languages.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude for contract review, drafting, or legal research.
- Knowledge of the EU AI Act.
- Experience negotiating partner contracts.
