## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Drive cloud and AI/LLM efficiency across parallel engineering initiatives, including token yield, compute right-sizing, LLM Gateway quotas, and provider commitments.
- Own a single prioritized source of truth for cost initiatives, set priorities, drive operating cadence, unblock owners, and deliver measurable efficiency and margin gains.
- Pressure-test savings claims by verifying realized versus projected savings after launch and preventing cost regressions.
- Build cost-attribution discipline through per-service, per-team, per-customer, and per-feature tagging and allocation.
- Oversee LLM spending across providers, including procurement and commitment sizing.
- Govern internal AI tooling spend with per-user visibility, quotas, and value assessment.
- Build observability and automation for real-time cost attribution, anomaly detection, alerting, and automated triage.
- Automate cost triage agents, regression detection, and self-service attribution.

## Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, developer productivity, or platform engineering.
- 3+ years leading cross-team programs or teams.
- Deep, hands-on understanding of cloud infrastructure and AI/LLM economics.
- Experience driving efficiency, capacity, or FinOps-adjacent programs.
- Operations mindset grounded in SLOs, error budgets, telemetry, and postmortems.
- Strong SQL and data skills.
- Ability to query BigQuery, build a Sigma workbook, and model scenarios.
