> Designs and validates structural systems for factory-built data center modules, including frames, enclosures, lifting, transport, and stacking structures. The role requires hands-on experience taking steel or sheet-metal products from concept through fabrication and production launch.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Engineer structural systems for modular data center products, including frames, enclosures, lifting structures, and transport structures, from concept through released fabrication drawings.
- Own structural calculations and load paths so modules withstand fabrication, shipping, rigging, and stacking without redesign.
- Resolve integration issues between structure and MEP, including penetrations, attachment points, and tolerances.
- Support factory and field production by answering RFIs and incorporating engineering fixes into subsequent revisions.
- Drive prototyping and validation through physical mockups, fit checks, and first-article reviews.

## Requirements
- Hands-on experience engineering structures for complex physical products, modular construction, or heavy fabrication, such as modules, trailers, skids, or container conversions.
- Experience taking steel or sheet-metal products from concept through fabrication.
- Experience supporting production launches and remaining accountable through first articles.
- Ability to treat transport loads, lifting points, and stacking as primary design constraints.
- Ability to produce fabrication-ready drawings and resolve drawing issues with fabricators.
- Ability to work across disciplines, iterate quickly, and maintain configuration control.

## Nice-to-haves
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Steel and sheet-metal design expertise.
- Familiarity with AISC and AWS structural detailing standards.
- 3D CAD proficiency with SolidWorks, Inventor, or Revit.
- Strong design-for-manufacturing (DFM) instincts.

## Compensation
- Salary range: $164,000–$206,000.
