## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Elicit and synthesize data-driven insights into clear narratives and recommendations for recurring business reviews, strategic planning, and ad hoc deep dives.
- Translate business needs into analytical tools and metrics addressing growth levers, performance gaps, and initiative impact.
- Scope, design, build, and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and data models for self-service access to key metrics.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across teams.
- Use AI tools to accelerate querying, modeling, and synthesis while validating AI-assisted work and building scalable, reusable processes.

## Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in BI or data analytics at a high-growth technology startup.
- Expert-level SQL skills.
- Experience building critical analyses and data visualizations.
- Ability to identify business challenges, recommend process improvements, investigate data edge cases, and guide operational decisions.
- Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and present to executives, business leaders, engineers, product managers, and peers.
- Strong data storytelling and visualization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects, and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative, mission-driven approach.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience solving data problems in healthcare, such as revenue cycle management, provider operations, value-based care, or health technology SaaS.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Hex, and Retool.
- Day-to-day use of AI tools for querying, drafting, and synthesis.
