## Job Description

## What You’ll Do
- Define the design vision for Nooks and ensure a cohesive experience across the entire product
- Lead and grow the design team, recruiting and mentoring exceptional product designers
- Own the end-to-end product experience, from early discovery and concepting through polished execution
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape the product roadmap and ship high-impact features
- Translate complex AI and workflow problems into simple, intuitive interfaces
- Build scalable design systems that enable consistency and velocity across the product
- Champion the voice of the user, grounding design decisions in research, feedback, and real customer workflows
- Raise the design bar across the company, influencing product thinking and user experience at every level

## What You Bring
- 8+ years of product design experience
- Experience managing designers
- A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UX, product thinking, and visual design
- Experience designing complex SaaS products or workflow tools
- A track record of building and scaling design teams in fast-growing startups
- Ability to move fluidly between high-level product strategy and hands-on design execution
- Strong cross-functional leadership with product, engineering, and GTM teams
- Passion for building products that users love and rely on every day
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment
