## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Maintain and improve Redpanda-based event streaming infrastructure
- Develop replacement for authentication and authorization services
- Create event-driven solutions to replace batch processing
- Take ownership of tasks, identify technical challenges, propose solutions
- Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable systems
- Collaborate with teams to improve system interactions
- Maintain software quality and test coverage
- Participate in code reviews
- Troubleshoot incidents and bugs
- Participate in on-call rotation

## Requirements

- 5+ years experience in strongly-typed languages, 1+ year in **Go**
- Advanced **Kubernetes** knowledge: write **Helm** charts, security best practices
- Experience with relational databases (**PostgreSQL**)
- Startup experience handling technical debt and ambiguity
- End-to-end task ownership: requirements to deployment/monitoring
- 3+ years on systems at scale

## Nice-to-Haves

- **Kafka**/ **Redpanda** experience
- **JWT**, **OpenID Connect**, **SAML**, **Keycloak**, authentication systems
- IaC with **Argo CD**, **Terraform**, **GCP**, **GKE**
